The Swiss cryptocurrency bank SEBA Bank AG announced today that it is rebranding as AMINA Bank AG.

Swiss Cryptocurrency Company Transamination Unveils New Phase

Based in Zug, Switzerland, the cryptocurrency company has been granted permission by FINMA to provide financial services since 2019.

The rebranding, according to Amina, represents a new phase for the company. The word "transamination" refers to the transference of one substance to another.

A New Era: AMINA's Vision for Cryptocurrency Banking

"We are a major participant in cryptocurrency banking, and we are here to shape the future of finance. Our brand represents a new chapter in the company's development and strategy. According to a statement from Franz Bergmueller, CEO of AMINA, "We offer a platform for investors to build wealth safely and under the highest regulatory standards with our client-focused approach and our years of traversing traditional and crypto finance."

Customers won't be impacted by the move, according to Amina, and business will continue as usual. Its subsidiaries in Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as its branch in Abu Dhabi, will thereafter submit an application for a name change to align with the Zug headquarters.
